9TH FEB 2009

Hello Folks,
We are now in New Zeland and have had a couple ofgood days thus far. We, (Kay & I) arrived in Auckland on Friday at midday and collected our R.V. (Motorhome). We then located our Campground; in a suburb called Manakau. Returned to theairport to collect Kath;leen at 1.00 A.M. Well we then experienced getting lost a number of times and that was fun but we managed not to be stopped by the law despiote several U-turns. Saturday quiet day of familiarsion with the area. Sunday tried to find local church but only got a line to St. Patricks Catheral (Pat you should be able to see this church on Google Earth) right smack in the centre of Auckland; a bit daunting as this vehicle is considerably larger than I am used to. In addition Mass lasted for almost 2 hours; (ouch).
We then took off south through Hamilton to Rotarua where we are this evening. We were planning to treavel onto Napier tomorrow but with all the things to see here we may have to stay a further night.
Tempreature here in the high 20's; No rain and the air conditioning in constant demand.

Can't wait to see the pics of NZ - Rotorua is where Steve (Amy & Steve) is from. Did you get to see the rugby? Ireland beat France so looking good for a grand slam - you will have to come down for the last game when you are back - Ireland v Wales - the grudge match! Still no texts??? Don't forget the +44. Speak to you soon. Kath xx
