Carla great to see you joining the gang. Also we know that you got back safe to Santagio; hope it was not too late. We did miss you in Mendoza.
We are now in Buenos Aires and have met our guide so we are ready for tours tomorrow. Pictures taken during the flight published now. Nothing else ; will report further tomorrow.

28th Feb 2009

Last day in Mendoza; Weather is still very warm, yesterday was 33degrees with a slight breeze. Very bearable. We are ready to be despatched to the airport for the next leg to Buenos Aires.
There was a concert in the park accross the road last night. Something to do with the election of 'The Wine Queen' for this region. I did not even hear the fireworks. It was interesting that there was a night market with stalls all round the park on both Thurs & Fri night. It was mainly crafts as in 'Bead Work' 7 'Leather Work'. A lot of Rasta's and Hippies.
Nothing more exciting to report; the Hotel is very nice and the hotel staff much more friendly and helpfull than the Chileans.

26th Feb 2009

Today we were up and off at 7.00 A.M. The Sun was not up as dawn appears to be later in these parts. We travelled roads and through scenery which cannot be truly described.
We crossed the Chile/Argentinian border at a height of 1,80-0 Meters and it was cold up there.
As we were travelling Eastward most of the day the Sun did not help with pictures and neither did a fast mooving vehicle. I have scrapped approx half that I took and I am hoping that the selection provided will give all of you something to comment on.
We did not do anything further today; 4.30. P.M. when we arrived here. Tomorrow we will see what Mendoza has to offer.
Meanwhiole heres hoping that all are well.
Kay & Ed
