11th Feb 2009

We are now at a place called Blenhiem!!!!!! How about that for close to home?
We crossed on the Ferry today and we are ready for heading further south tomorrow.
The weather here is great, Sunshine, a bit overcast; probablysomeplace in low 20's.
The terrain since we landed here has been "undulating" to say the least. It is impossible to describe as there are Hills on Hills.
The current Internet situation is that I am purchasing 'Wireless Internet Time' from a provider who has hotspots in these campsites.
First impressions of New Zeland are; People are very friendly, It is not expensive to eat out, Fuel is relatively cheap; $1.03 per litre. You do not pay tax on Diesel at the Pump, the hire company levy a tax per 100km driven.
Admission to the atractions can be expensive.
Thats about it for tonight,
Great to hear from Pat, Dave, Bridie, Kathy, and the others. Do keep your comments coming.
Kathleen also looks forward to all her friends comments.
