Liliana Crociati DE Szazak. This girl was daughter to a single parent mother. Eventually her mother met a man fell in love and married him. He then adopted Liliana as his own and cared for them both. The Mother died and the husband continued to look after and care for Lilana.
Eventually Liliana met a young man fell in love and married. Her step father was so proud he decided that they should go skiing on their honeymoon as that was how he had met Liliana's mother. On their first honeymoon morning the Husband decided to make and bring breakfast to Liliana in bed. He was in the kitchen at the front of the house preparing breakfast when he heard arumble which only lasted a couple of seconds. He did not take any notice and continued preparing breakfast. He then headed back to the bedroom with the tray. He could not open the door; it transpired that the rumble he had heard was an avalanche which had crashed through the rear of the building and his Liliana had been killed.
The further ironic twist was that Liliana's stepfather had phoned the resort to break the news that Liliana's dog had died and it was then he heard of the tragedy. Liliana was brought back to Buenos Aires and buried here with her pet dog and in her wedding dress and this is a picture of the monument erected by her stepfather.
