Good Morning all from a very sunny Stellenbosch. It is Sunday morning and it was too later yesterday evening after the wedding to write upp stuff.
The wedding yesterday was spectacular in the best possible way. The service was outdoors in a Winery; The Bride was escorted to the "alter" by a group of traditioal singers and dancers and this created the atmosphere for the day.
The service performed by a Lay Minister who was great; sincere and funny in the right ballance. After the wedding service Bride & Groom were escorted to the Registry signing by the dancers and singers and back after the signing. All were then escorted to the reception by traditional Drums, Singers & Dancers. Following the p0hotogaphs the Brisal party was escorted to the table again by traditional African music; when they were seated thete was a bressing by the native "Medcine Man"; in english for us who dont understand.
Generally a great day and a great event.
The other surprise yesterday was that Patricia (my sister) arrived unannounced at our B&B.
I am having some problem with uploading pictures at this time. I hope to resolve this soon.
Stellenbosch is totally different from where we were last week and again when the photos are seen you will understand what I mean.
Thats it for now;' Speak to you again soon/.
